Introduction to Mindfulness with Ann Marie Arvoy

This class is designed for beginners who want to learn basic mindfulness skills and discover ways to integrate these into daily life.  You will learn:

            *What mindfulness means

            *Scientific studies of the effectiveness of mindfulness

            *Mindful Eating practice

            *Sitting Meditation

            *Walking meditation

Tai Chi Fundamentals with Jack Lavin

Over the course of the 10-week course we will cover several basic movements, simple standing meditation, and the first section of the Fundamentals tai chi form, a sequence of movements strung together practiced in a slow, continuous, mindful way.  As a meditative discipline, the practice includes stillness and movement, emphasizing structural alignment, relaxation, and a calm alert mind. 

The Fundamentals program can provide a lifetime of practice or can be a stepping-stone to the study of some traditional taijiquan style.

Mindfulness for Anxiety with Ann Marie Arvoy, MA, LPC

Mindfulness based interventions are very effective in reducing depression, anxiety and stress related difficulties.  In this six-week group, engage in meditation and mindfulness practices in a supportive environment.  You will be guided to:

~Identify the negative thinking patterns that affect your mood and create anxiety

~Empower yourself to when you have negative thoughts or become anxious

~Discover how to integrate mindfulness into your life

Group Mindfulness Coaching

Mindfulness coaching is a great way to integrate the meaning of mindfulness into your life. You will set goals and engage in mindful action to achieve them.  Join others in this online transformational experience.

Embracing Your Dreams: Vision Board Workshop                  

Join Pat Ingelse and Ann Marie Arvoy in this interactive workshop, where we'll focus on:

Extended Practice Day with Ann Marie Arvoy

Immerse yourself into mindfulness practices for an extended period of time.  The day consists of sitting meditation, mindful movement, mindful walking, loving kindness meditation, and discussion. Lunch will be held in mindful silence. Snacks are provided, please bring your own lunch.
